There is little to no cost to you, the buyer, for the services provided since commission for the buyer's agent is typically paid by the home seller (1). If the property you are interested in is listed in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS®️) then the seller offers commission to the co-operating broker, the buyer's agent, through the MLS®️. At the close of escrow, the seller pays the buyer agent commission or a portion thereof. You only pay the difference.
